Kevin Rose Announces Facebook Killer Google.me on Twitter

In addition to the first look at Digg 4.0, Kevin Rose also announced that this year will be the last year for the Diggnation podcast. Diggnation has been running for 5 years and with Alex Albrecht living in Los Angeles and Kevin Rose living in San Fransisco, the travel time required to produce the weekly show has become prohibitive to producing the weekly show. Kevin will be producing a new show for Revision 3 called FForward.com which will feature the Geek culture of Silicon Valley.
In other news, Kevin announced to the TWiT viewers that Google is planning to release a Facebook clone called Google.me. Kevin Rose informed the TWiT viewers that he had posted a tweet about the new “Facebook Killer” and was asked to remove his tweet.
